Anne M. Cox Named One of Georgia’s Most Powerful and Influential Women


ATLANTA, July 2, 2014 — Anne M. Cox, a partner at King & Spalding, has been named to an elite list of the most powerful and influential women in Georgia by the Georgia Diversity Council. She will be recognized for her leadership excellence in the legal profession and in the Atlanta community at the Council’s 5th Annual Diversity and Leadership Conference to be held at Emory University, in Atlanta, on September 26, 2014. 

Cox made the annual list of the state’s leading women based on her record of accomplishments in the field of law and within her firm, her commitment to the community and her demonstration of the highest ethical standards.  

Cox is a member of King & Spalding’s corporate practice, resident in the firm’s Atlanta office. She focuses on the full range of merger and acquisition transactions, including public and private company mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, tender offers, recapitalizations, joint ventures, strategic investments, going-private transactions, special committee representations, as well as representing private equity funds in control and non-control investment transactions and investment exit transactions. Cox serves on King & Spalding’s diversity committee and is a member of the advisory committee of Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta and a former board director of Everybody Wins! Atlanta.
