White House Announces 50 Percent of US Adults Have Received At Least One Dose of a COVID-19 Vaccine

During the April 19, 2021 White House COVID-19 Response Team press briefing, Andy Slavitt, Senior Advisor to the COVID Response Coordinator, announced that 50 percent of adults in the United States have received at least one shot of a COVID-19 Vaccine. Additionally, as of April 19, everyone 16 or over is eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
