backOn Thursday, Moderna, Inc. announced that it is aiming to manufacture up to 3 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses in 2022. To meet its new goal, Moderna will invest billions of dollars to boost supply at its owned and partnered manufacturing facilities. The drug company anticipates that there will be a “significant need” for its mRNA COVID-19 vaccine and booster candidates through 2023.
