People

Rahul is an associate on the Intellectual Property team and has a strong technical background in computer science.  He focuses on patent litigation, and has litigated matters involving virtual machines, distributed location servers, cybersecurity, and life sciences (ANDA/aBLA).  Prior to law school, Rahul was a software and firmware engineer at the Intel Architecture Group and Intel Security Group (f/k/a “McAfee”).

Rahul has extensive experience in all aspects of patent litigation in the top patent venues in the nation, including the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, the District of Delaware, and the Northern District of California. He has also counseled clients and effectively litigated proceedings at the USPTO (including several inter partes review proceedings) and Section 337 investigations at the International Trade Commission.  

Representative Matters

Represented Open Text Inc. in competitor versus competitor patent litigations involving machine learning software and content management systems.

Represented UCB Inc. in its victorious competitor vs. competitor patent litigation against involving the only transdermal patch in existence for the treatment of Parkinson's disease.

Represented Pfizer Inc. in several aBLA patent dances involving protein purification technology.

Represented startup Kove IO, Inc. in patent litigation involving foundational "Cloud" architecture.
