Virginia McGuffey is counsel in King & Spalding’s Finance Practice Group in Atlanta. She has practiced in the commercial law area since 1981. Ms. McGuffey's practice focuses on representing lenders and borrowers in debt financings, including syndicated and single lender senior credit facilities, asset-based lines of credit, letter of credit facilities, securitizations, multicurrency facilities and related financial accommodations.
Ms. McGuffey received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 1973 and her law degree from the University of Georgia 1976. Ms. McGuffey is licensed to practice in Florida and Georgia and has been admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She wrote a chapter on intercreditor agreements which appeared in Structuring Secured Commercial Loan Documents published by Warren, Gorham & Lamont.
