Stephanie Johnson is an associate in King & Spalding’s Atlanta office and is a member of the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group.  Ms. Johnson represents healthcare clients in government investigations, internal investigations, and complex business disputes.  In addition, she advises clients on federal and state regulatory issues, including Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, compliance and fraud and abuse investigations.  Ms. Johnson also advises providers on how to prepare for and respond to audits conducted by government integrity contractors, including recovery audit contractors (RACs), Medicaid integrity contractors (MICs), program safeguard contractors (PSCs) and zone program integrity contractors (ZPICs).  She has represented health systems, hospitals, home health companies, and retail pharmacy chains. 

Ms. Johnson graduated, magna cum laude, from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.  While in law school, Ms. Johnson was a member of the Mercer Law Review and a member of the Moot Court team.  She received her B.A. in business management, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia.
