Shelby Wilson Stratmann is an associate in the Houston office of King & Spalding and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. She represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of tort and commercial matters in state and federal courts.
Prior to joining King & Spalding, Ms. Stratmann obtained her J.D., with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law where she was a member of the Texas International Law Journal and a speaker on the school’s 2005 Texas Young Lawyer’s Association Mock Trial Team. She graduated, magna cum laude, and Phi Beta Kappa from Vanderbilt University where she majored in Economics and Music and minored in Spanish. Ms. Stratmann is a member of the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Young Lawyers Association and the Women’s Energy Network. She formerly acted as co-chairperson of the HBA AIDS Outreach Committee.
