Sharon Ferguson joined the London office of King & Spalding as Director of Administration in January 2003 after advising the working party of the firm’s London office prior to its opening. Ms. Ferguson is responsible for operations, planning and budgeting for the London office comprising approximately 50 personnel.
Prior to joining King & Spalding, Ms. Ferguson was responsible for the London and CIS offices (Moscow, Kazakhstan, Krygyzstan, Tashkent and Uzbekistan) of the former Mayer, Brown & Platt through their growth and eventual merger. Before that, Ms. Ferguson was with Sidley & Austin, where she managed the practice change from US branch office to multi-national practice of American and English lawyers, and their Far Eastern operations in Singapore and joint venture Tokyo office. She began her legal career in 1986, at Covington & Burling, where she opened their first overseas office.
