Sarah Taub is an associate in the Capital Transactions & Real Estate Practice Group in King & Spalding’s Atlanta office. Ms. Taub’s practice focuses on distressed asset transactions and includes representations of asset purchasers and lenders.
Ms. Taub has represented secured debtor-in-possession lenders and asset purchasers in high-profile Chapter 11 reorganizations and out-of-court restructurings. Her general real estate and bankruptcy experience includes the negotiation, documentation and litigation of debtor-in-possession financing orders, cash collateral orders, orders authorizing the sale of assets, and various related procedural matters.
Ms. Taub is a graduate of Duke University where in 2001 she earned a bachelor’s degree in economics. She obtained her law degree with honors from Emory University in 2005, where she also served as Managing Editor of the Emory International Law Review.
Ms. Taub is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the American Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia. She is admitted to practice in the State of Georgia, the State of New York and the Southern District of New York.
