Samuel Davis is an associate in the Houston office of King & Spalding and a member of its Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses on commercial litigation and environmental tort. His recent legal experience includes work on the following matters:

  • Defending multi-national energy company in environmental contamination cases in both federal and state court;

  • Representation of principals behind the funding and development of patented email technology to recover licensing proceeds;

  • Representation of jail minister in free speech retaliation case;

Mr. Davis is a 2006 and 2007 recipient of King & Spalding’s pro bono service award. In 2008, he volunteered as an assistant prosecutor in Fort Bend County. He also recently defended four senior citizens in an action brought by the County for back taxes and penalties allegedly due since the 1980s. In 2009, the Texas Civil Rights Project honored him as a pro bono champion.
