Russell Blythe is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group at King & Spalding. His practice includes all aspects of intellectual property litigation and counseling with a primary emphasis on patent litigation. Mr. Blythe is registered to practice as a Patent Attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He represents clients in patent infringement lawsuits in federal district courts across the United States, including cases involving optical systems, mechanical devices, fluid mechanics, polymer chemistry, and telecommunications. Mr. Blythe has served as the senior associate on a number of patent litigation matters for Fortune 100 clients.
Mr. Blythe also applies his technical and legal skills in complex false advertising matters. Mr. Blythe recently served as the senior associate for a Fortune 100 client in federal court false advertising litigation related to greenwashing and the use of environmental statements.
In 2004, Mr. Blythe received his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he graduated, magna cum laude. During law school, he served on the Georgia Law Review and was elected president of the Student Bar Association. Mr. Blythe received his Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology with high honor from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2001.
