Phillip Sacks is a senior associate with King & Spalding, based in the firm’s Dubai office. Mr. Sacks specialises in investment funds and private equity.
Mr. Sacks regularly advises leading sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions and managers on the corporate and regulatory aspects of structuring, establishing, re-organizing and liquidating various onshore and offshore fund structures including private equity, funds, venture capital funds, infrastructure funds, real estate funds, credit funds and hedge funds. In addition, he regularly advises on the formation of regulated asset management entities and the establishment of carried interest plans and other incentive schemes for fund managers.
Prior to joining King & Spalding, Mr. Sacks worked for the funds and corporate department of Walkers, practicing the laws of the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands. Mr. Sacks also previously worked for Clayton Utz in Australia and for a leading law firm in Bahrain.
