Phillip Sacks is a senior associate with King & Spalding, based in the firm’s Dubai office. Mr. Sacks specialises in investment funds, private equity and corporate transactions (including mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures).
Mr. Sacks regularly advises leading sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions and asset managers on the corporate and regulatory aspects of structuring, establishing, re-organising and liquidating various fund structures. He also advises clients in respect of their undertaking of investments of all types including private equity, infrastructure, debt and equity securities, real estate, derivatives and other financial instruments.
Prior to joining King & Spalding, Mr. Sacks worked for the funds and corporate department of Walkers, practising the laws of the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands. Mr. Sacks also previously worked for Clayton Utz in Australia and for a leading law firm in Bahrain.
