Olga Kozyr is a partner in the firm’s Moscow office and practices in the areas of corporate and real estate law, and life science. Ms. Kozyr focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and IPOs, including IPOs on LSE; on regulatory issues for pharmaceutical and medical devices industries, including clinical trials. She represents both U.S. and European companies engaged in investment in industry in Russia, as well as Russian companies.
Ms. Kozyr provides general real estate advice, including development and construction projects. In the area of privatization, Olga acted as lead counsel to the State Committee on State Property of the Russian Federation, State Committee on Land Resources and Ministry of Economy. Ms. Kozyr participated in drafting the Land Code of the Russian Federation of 2001 and the Urban Development Code of the Russian Federation of 1998.
As a part of her M&A work, Olga has conducted interviews with management and personnel on various issues, including compliance with anti-corruption, conflict of interests and ethics rules during due diligence process or during internal investigations. She has also broad experience in employment and HR related matters.
Ms. Kozyr lectures at the Law School of Moscow State University on Land Law and Environmental Law. She also was a lecturer at the World Bank Technical Assistance Program and taught environmental law to Russian officials from regional committees on environmental protection. Ms. Kozyr has authored a book, manuals and over 70 articles and other publications.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kozyr practiced with the Moscow office of an international law firm.
