Nicole Bittlingmayer is a counsel in the Frankfurt office of King & Spalding LLP.  She joined the firm in October 2007, and is a member of the firm’s Capital Transactions and Real Estate Practice Group. With more than fifteen years of experience, Nicole’s practice focuses on German investment and regulatory law, fund structuring, fund liquidation, outsourcing and international and German real estate transactions. Her practice also involves international taxation, corporate and financing work.

Nicole Bittlingmayer represents:

  • major German and international investment fund managers (AIFM), capital investment companies (KVG), open- ended and closed-ended real estate investment funds (AIF), asset managers, German and international institutional real estate investors in their regulatory, tax and financing structuring and in all aspects of their worldwide acquisitions, financings and sales;

  • non-German investors on their inbound investments in German/European real estate.

From 2002 until 2007, Nicole Bittlingmayer was legal counsel at IVG Institutional Funds GmbH, formerly Oppenheim Immobilien-Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH, then the largest and market-leading German institutional real estate investment management company. Her work focused on all real estate investment fund related regulatory, tax, real estate, corporate and financing aspects including all real estate transactions worldwide as well as the handling of the legal relationship between the company and its fund investors and the supervisory authorities.

The first years of her legal career, Nicole Bittlingmayer provided legal advice on real estate and corporate transactions for a company of the METRO-Group.
