Nancy Collier LeGros is a partner in the Houston office of King & Spalding and a member of the Healthcare Practice Group. Ms. LeGros focuses her practice on health care regulatory compliance and reimbursement. She regularly advises healthcare clients regarding the laws and regulations that govern their day-to-day operations, including the federal anti-kickback statute, the False Claims Act, and HIPAA. Her practice also includes a broad range of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement matters, including contractor audits and self-disclosure of overpayments. She handles healthcare regulatory due diligence in connection with proposed transactions, as well as operational matters such as Medicare certification, EMTALA compliance, facility licensure, peer review matters, clinical research and ethical treatment conflicts. Ms. LeGros advises hospitals, including multi-hospital systems and hospital districts, academic medical centers, physician groups, hospices, mental health facilities and DME suppliers. She is board certified in Health Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and recognized as a “Texas Super Lawyer” and in “The Best Lawyers in America” in health care law.
