Mike Raeber is a partner in King & Spalding's Business Litigation Practice Group and is based in the firm's Atlanta office. Mr. Raeber joined the firm in 1994 and became partner in 2001. Named as one of the top business litigators in Georgia by Super Lawyers magazine, Mr. Raeber has litigation experience in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels, as well as extensive arbitration experience. His representations include a variety of civil matters, with emphasis on real estate disputes, insurance recovery, accounting litigation, and business torts.
Mr. Raeber is a graduate of The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, where he obtained a B.A. in Political Science. He graduated, cum laude, from The University of Georgia School of Law, where he was published in the Georgia Law Review and served as Editor-in-Chief. Following law school, Mr. Raeber served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Stanley F. Birch, Jr. on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Mr. Raeber is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, and the Atlanta Bar Association. Mr. Raeber is a Fellow of the Lawyers Foundation of Georgia and a member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta.
Mr. Raeber serves on the Board of Directors of KIPP (“Knowledge is Power Program”) Metro Atlanta. KIPP is a nationwide network of public charter schools serving low income students in underserved communities, with schools currently operating in Atlanta. For over fifteen years, Mr. Raeber served on the Board of Directors and continues to volunteer for the non-profit Truancy Intervention Project Georgia, which provides pro bono representation for children in truancy proceedings.
