Louis-Alexis Bret is an associate in King & Spalding’s New York office and a member of the international arbitration practice. Mr. Bret’s practice focuses on both commercial and investment arbitration, primarily in the energy sector.
Mr. Bret represents clients in international energy disputes, including disputes for and against governments and national oil companies, energy trading disputes, disputes concerning LNG facilities and sales, and disputes involving supply and pricing of natural gas. As part of his practice, Mr. Bret works closely with experts in the oil and gas industry, as well as with experts on economic and damages issues. Mr. Bret also advises energy companies in connection with their investments abroad and writes frequently on international oil and gas disputes, with a particular emphasis on energy trading disputes.
