Kristin Roshelli is an associate in King & Spalding’s Houston Healthcare Practice Group. Ms. Roshelli’s practice focuses on representing health care providers in a variety of regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters. She represents a broad range of health care clients including health systems, hospitals, academic medical centers, private equity funds active in the health care industries, pharmaceutical companies, home infusion providers, group purchasing organizations, physician practices, and managed long-term care providers. Kristin has assisted these clients with various matters, including hospital affiliations; mergers and acquisitions; government investigations relating to Medicare and Medicaid billing; state and federal fraud and abuse authorities, including the Stark physician self-referral and anti-kickback statutes; board governance matters; and compliance with regulatory requirements regarding licensure and data privacy and security laws.
Ms. Roshelli graduated from the University of Pennsylvania magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Before graduating cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law, Ms. Roshelli served in the United States Air Force Nursing Corps, rising to the rank of Captain; worked in the general counsel’s office of a large academic medical center; and practiced as a registered nurse in a medical intensive care unit. While at St. John’s University, she served as Notes and Comments Editor of St. John’s Law Review.
