Kevin Mohr is a counsel in the Houston office of King & Spalding and a member of the Texas Securities & Shareholder Litigation group. Mr. Mohr has more than 10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, and has represented clients in trial and appellate proceedings spanning more than 30 state and federal jurisdictions. His practice is a blend of securities fraud and D&O litigation, SEC proceedings, class actions, franchise/dealer litigation, and general commercial litigation and arbitration, mostly in the energy and technology sectors. He has extensive experience in fiduciary duty, accounting fraud, trade secret, and class certification issues.
Mr. Mohr received his B.A. in 1994 from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College, summa cum laude, with a major in Political Science and a minor in History. He received his J.D. in 1997 from Harvard Law School, magna cum laude, where he served as a research assistant to Professor Arthur R. Miller. Following law school, Mr. Mohr served as a law clerk to the Honorable Hayden W. Head, Jr., a distinguished United States District Judge in the Southern District of Texas. Mr. Mohr is licensed in Texas and Illinois, and is also admitted to practice before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Texas and the Northern District of Illinois.
