Judy Mohr is a partner in King & Spalding’s Intellectual Property Practice, with more than 15 years of experience in life sciences intellectual property law. Her practice encompasses all aspects of domestic and international patent procurement, patent portfolio strategic counseling, and comprehensive portfolio management for emerging as well as mature life science companies. Her practice also includes patentability opinions, freedom to operate analysis, infringement/non-infringement evaluations and invalidity opinions. She conducts patent due diligence studies in connection with venture capital financings, private financings, mergers and acquisitions. With an educational background in biology, chemistry and chemical engineering and industrial experience in the polymer and pharmaceutical formulation fields, she has a wide range of technical capabilities in pharmaceuticals, molecular biology, diagnostics, drug delivery systems, liposomal technology, microarray technology, gas and liquid separations, and polymer and materials science.
