John Wilson is a partner in King & Spalding’s Capital Transactions and Real Estate Practice Group. Mr. Wilson's practice focuses on representing fund sponsors in the structuring and formation of funds and other vehicles for investment in real estate and real estate related assets. Mr. Wilson also has significant experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other corporate transactions involving public REITs, private real estate operators, investment funds and investment managers. He has experience in a broad range of securities matters and routinely counsels clients on exemptions and other compliance matters under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
Mr. Wilson received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida in 1994. Mr. Wilson received his law degree from the University of Florida in 1997, graduated with high honors, and was a member of the Florida Law Review and Order of the Coif.
