  • Representing Chevron U.S.A. Inc. in national MDL and California litigation related to groundwater pollution and MTBE; 

  • Representing Exterran Energy Solutions in a construction dispute with a subcontractor concerning work performed at a gas plant in Edna, Texas;

  • Representing Chevron U.S.A. Inc. in Louisiana Legacy litigation related to groundwater pollution;

  • Representing Chevron U.S.A. Inc. in litigation in Louisiana related to the alleged loss of wetlands as a result of oil and gas operations;

  • Representing the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in state and federal litigation related to claims of improper supervision of residents and retaliatory employment decisions;

  • Representing Odyssey Healthcare in qui tam litigation concerning allegations of improper billing for hospice services;

  • Representing Sava Senior Care in an insurance dispute concerning health care facilities and Hurricane Ike damage;

  • Representing founder of hedge fund in dispute arising out of ability to sell his interest to exit hedge fund;

  • Representing a major oil and gas company in a construction arbitration against an engineering and construction contractor that provided defective mooring components for an offshore production facility located in the Gulf of Mexico;

  • Representing Cimarex Energy Co. in oil and gas disputes in southeast Texas related to royalty and working interest payments; 

  • Representing Credit Suisse First Boston in litigation arising out of lending related to the total refurbishment and construction of a historic downtown Houston building;

  • Representing a former controller of Dynegy, Inc. in investigations by the DOJ and SEC, and in related civil actions by investors, arising from cash flow recognition and tax treatment issues in the company’s financial statements; 

  • Representing credit card issuer FleetCor, Inc. and its president on claims for securities fraud action by investor in federal court in Atlanta, and on claims by franchisee for wrongful termination in federal court in Texas;

  • Representing Key Energy in a securities fraud class action arising out of capitalization, due diligence in acquisitions, and internal control issues;

  • Representing St. Paul Travelers in a putative class arbitration in Houston related to FLSA claims;

  • Representing Miller Brewing Company (now MillerCoors LLC) in Texas, Arkansas, Florida, and internationally involving distributor and franchise terminations, commercial fraud, and antitrust claims;  

  • Representing Arthur Andersen and several of its former auditors in a securities fraud class action against CMS Energy Corporation based on its gas trading activities;

  • Representing Tracker Marine, LLC, the nation’s top recreational boat manufacturer, in a breach of contract claim in Florida;

  • Representing Chevron U.S.A. Inc. in Texas benzene contamination cases;

  • Representing the former owner of a contaminated piece of property in the Houston Ship Channel in both Texas and Federal court; and

  • Representing a California attorney in a Texas case involving claims of breach of contract, fraud, DTPA, and tortious interference.
