Jim Gorsline is a member of King & Spalding's Business Litigation Practice Group. He joined the firm in 1985 as an associate and was named counsel in 1993.
Mr. Gorsline has focused his practice on representing litigants in cases involving complicated accounting transactions or complex damage calculations. He has particular experience representing accountants in accounting malpractice and securities fraud cases.
A Certified Public Accountant from 1982-1985, he worked for a "Big-Four" accounting firm prior to attending law school. In 1985, he graduated, magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina where he was a member of the Law Review and elected to the Order of the Coif.
