Kevin Buster is a senior trial partner with King & Spalding in Atlanta. He has 30 years of courtroom experience in a wide variety of cases including toxic tort, product liability, environmental tort, criminal, antitrust and commercial cases. Over the past 20 years, however, he has concentrated almost exclusively in the defense of toxic tort, product liability and environmental tort cases. He has defended cases in these three areas throughout the country, including in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and West Virginia. These cases have involved a wide variety of chemical substances, including dioxins, PCBs, pesticides, metals, solvents, gasses, odors, petroleum products, food products, pharmaceutical, chemical warfare agents, asbestos, vinyl chloride and others; and have involved exposure/contamination in a variety of contexts, including workplace, residential, environmental and product exposures. Representative clients include Beazer Homes, Cooper Industries, Dow Chemical Company, Georgia-Pacific Corporation, Hercules, Inc., Honeywell International, Lincoln Electric Company and other welding rod manufacturers, Texaco and Union Carbide Corporation.
Mr. Buster is the head of the Toxic Tort Litigation Practice Group at the firm.
