Grigori A. Lazarev is an associate and solicitor advocate in King & Spalding's International Arbitration Group in London. Mr Lazarev has acted in a number of international arbitration proceedings, including under the LCIA, ICC, SCC, ICSID, UNCITRAL and OHADA rules. Mr Lazarev also acts in English High Court proceedings in relation to enforcement of arbitral awards and other arbitration-related matters. Mr Lazarev's practice spans a number of industry sectors, with a particular focus on the oil and gas, mining and construction industries. He regularly advises in relation to matters originating in Russia and other CIS jurisdictions, and increasingly in francophone Africa.

Prior to joining King & Spalding in 2012, Mr Lazarev practiced at Herbert Smith in London and Paris. During that time, Mr Lazarev also went on a six-month secondment to BP plc's Global Dispute Resolution team in London. Mr Lazarev is also one of the founders and Treasurer of the Russian and CIS Arbitration Network. He is fluent in English, Russian and French.
