Frank Brannen is counsel with King & Spalding’s Tort Litigation Practice Group where he focuses primarily on the defense of automotive and pharmaceutical manufacturers in product liability cases. In addition, he has represented a homebuilder in litigation involving claims of personal injury and property damage arising out of alleged residential exposure to sulfide gases from defective drywall manufactured in China.
Mr. Brannen is part of the national coordinating counsel and trial counsel team in product liability litigation involving GSK’s antidepressant Paxil® and has served as part of the national counsel team defending Purdue Pharma in nationwide litigation over its pain medication OxyContin®. He has served as lead counsel for two automotive manufacturers in asbestos lawsuits pending in Georgia and has experience consulting with a foreign manufacturer regarding the regulatory requirements for the sale of vehicles in the United States. Mr. Brannen has additional experience in litigation matters involving claims of fraud, defamation, and breach of warranty.
