Emily Sweitzer is an associate in King & Spalding’s Capital Transactions and Real Estate Practice Group. Ms. Sweitzer’s practice focuses on the representation of equity investors and developers in the acquisition, disposition and financing of multifamily, office, retail, industrial, senior housing and parking assets. She has extensive experience representing multifamily borrowers in Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae financings, including financings through the Freddie Mac CME program. Ms. Sweitzer also has experience representing lenders and borrowers in the workout, restructure and foreclosure of commercial real estate loans.
Ms. Sweitzer received a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Carleton College in 2002 and received her law degree from Northwestern University in 2005. Ms. Sweitzer was active in Northwestern University’s Bluhm Legal Clinic. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the American Bar Association.
