Clay Howell is a partner in King & Spalding’s Capital Transactions and Real Estate Practice Group. Mr. Howell’s practice focuses on the representation of equity investors in their investments in real estate assets and platforms, and the representation of developers in complex, urban development transactions. Mr. Howell has represented these clients in the multifamily, office, retail, industrial and senior-living sectors throughout the United States.
Mr. Howell received his B.A. in psychology from Davidson College in 1993 and his J.D. from the University of Georgia in 1998. While in law school, Mr. Howell was an Articles Editor for the Georgia Law Review. Mr. Howell was noted for his real estate expertise in the 2008-2011 publications of Chambers USA and the 2007-2010 publications of Legal 500. Additionally, Mr. Howell was named a “Georgia Rising Star” in 2006-2011 by Law & Politics.
