Representative Experience

• Defending GlaxoSmithKline in nationwide product liability litigation, with responsibility for a number of individual cases, including coordinating discovery, conducting depositions of plaintiffs and physicians, briefing evidentiary and summary judgment motions, participating in mock trial, and all aspects of pre-trial preparation.
  
  
• Participating in trial and pre-trial preparation in mass tort litigation and putative class actions alleging exposure to chemicals in groundwater, including drafting discovery, working with expert witnesses, and briefing evidentiary motions, in cases in Florida, Alabama and Minnesota.
  
  
• Coordinating all aspects of electronic document production for agricultural federation served with multiple subpoenas, including successful reimbursement of expenses incurred under FRCP 45.
  
  
• Drafting successful motion to dismiss lawsuit filed under the Arkansas FOIA seeking disclosure of protected documents of Washington-based agricultural federation.
  
  
• Preparing for expert depositions and developing Daubert and Frye challenges in a number of jurisdictions.
  
  
• Developing submissions to regulatory agencies on toxicology, epidemiology, ecotoxicology, and physical and chemical properties studies.
  
  
• Representing District of Columbia tenant in a Department of Housing and Urban Development “One-Strike” eviction case, which resulted in a successful mediation allowing tenant and her children to remain in their home.
  
  
• Representing disabled American Veterans appealing their disability ratings, which dictate Veterans’ retirement benefits.
