Brent Gilfedder is an associate in King & Spalding’s Capital Transactions and Real Estate Practice Group.
Mr. Gilfedder’s practice focuses on the on the sale, acquisition, development, construction, and leasing of all types of real estate assets as well as the structuring and formation of joint ventures. Mr. Gilfedder represents private equity institutions, equity investors and developers in all aspects of their real estate businesses, with an emphasis on structuring real estate equity investments, workouts, buyouts, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financings. He has represented clients such as Morgan Stanley, AMLI Residential, SITQ, Brookdale Realty Group, GE Real Estate and several open-ended German investment funds.
Mr. Gilfedder graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law and was a member of the Order of the Coif and The Georgia Law Review. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Gilfedder received a Masters in Taxation from the University of Denver’s Graduate Tax Program at the School of Law. Previously, he worked as a tax accountant at a Big Four accounting firm. Mr. Gilfedder graduated, summa cum laude, from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky with a B.A. in Accounting. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, and the Atlanta Bar Association.
