  • Represent Petroterminal de Panama S.A. with respect to the construction of a major expansion to its crude oil storage and handling facilities in Panama.  This transaction was awarded Latin American Refinancing Deal of the Year for 2009 by Project Finance magazine;

  • Represent a developer in the drafting and negotiation of the EPC agreement for a multi-billion dollar 1200 MW coal-fired power plant using a circulating fluidized bed boiler, to be built in Matagorda County, Texas;

  • Represent an Cheniere Energy with respect to construction and supply agreements for a natural gas pipeline and related facilities to be constructed between a LNG receiving, storage and regasification facility in Louisiana and a pipeline interconnect, and most recently, with respect to the drafting and negotiation of an EPC agreement for its multi-billion dollar expansion to add liquefaction facilities;

  • Represent an international independent power producer in the drafting and negotiation of equipment procurement and EPC terms relating to the development of a 200 MW simple cycle dual fuel power plant in Peru;

  • Represent Singapore LNG Corporation with respect the EPC contract and related consultancy agreements for the development of an approximately SGD1 billion LNG receiving, storage and regasification facility;

  • Represent a Houston-based pipeline company, with respect to the drafting and negotiation of construction agreements for pipeline projects in the Northeast U.S;

  • Represent the Houston Astros in connection with the construction arrangements for sports complex in the Dominican Republic;

  • Represent an international cement manufacturing company in a various aspects of construction transactional matters nationwide, including the drafting and negotiating of master services agreements, consulting agreements, design-build agreements, construction agreements and equipment purchase agreements;

  • Represent an apartment and condominium developer in various aspects of its nationwide construction program, including the development of standard form construction and consulting agreements;

  • Represent an international independent power producer in the drafting and negotiation of EPC terms for the development of a 900 MW coal-fired power plant in Chile;

  • Represented a developer in the drafting and negotiation of a construction agreement for a new signature high-end mixed-use skyscraper on Magnificent Mile in Chicago, Illinois;

  • Represent an independent power producer in the drafting and negotiation of procurement, construction, EPC and operation and maintenance (O&M) agreement related to the expansion of three power plants located in the Eastern United States;

  • Represent an international independent power producer with respect to the drafting and negotiation of EPC terms for the development of a 300MW gas-fired power and steam cogeneration unit and associated transmission lines and substations in Mexico;

  • Represented a leading global natural gas company in connection with the potential purchase of two mobile offshore semi-submersible drilling units under construction;

  • Represent an international independent power producer with respect to the drafting and negotiating of EPC agreements for the development of a 21MW hydroelectric facility in Guatemala;

  • Represent an international independent power producer with respect to the drafting of an EPC agreement for the development of an electrical transmission line in Guatemala;

  • Represent an international independent power producer with respect to the drafting and negotiating of EPC agreements for the development of a 83MW coal-fired electric power plant in Guatemala;

  • Represent an energy company with respect to the engineering, procurement, construction and management of construction services (EPCM) contract for its Corpus Christi, Texas LNG import terminal;

  • Represent EFACEC, a Portuguese company, in the drafting and negotiation of architectural and construction agreements for a new transformer manufacturing facility in the Southeastern United States;

  • Advise an energy client with respect to its engineering, procurement and construction agreements for a proposed LNG import terminal offshore Alabama;

  • Advise a Houston-based independent oil and natural gas company, with respect to a construction agreement related to the construction of a unit train unloading facility at an existing crude oil storage terminal in Louisiana;

  • Advise a developer in the engineering and construction of a biofuel processing facility in Texas;

  • Advise an independent power producer with respect to an EPC agreement in connection with the potential purchase of a 150 MW wind-powered electric generation facility currently under development in Texas; and

  • Assist in the representation of multi-family residential developer in the settlement of a construction dispute.
