Andreas Böhme is a partner in King & Spalding’s Frankfurt office. Mr. Böhme’s practice concentrates on finance and restructuring work and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Böhme represents foreign and domestic closed-ended and open-ended investments funds, institutions, sponsors, investors, developers and lenders in a wide range of commercial transactions, with an emphasis on real estate equity and debt financing, project finance (with a focus on renewable energy projects), structuring real estate investments, workouts, buyouts, acquisitions, dispositions and financings.
He also advises clients on German laws governing covered mortgage bonds (Pfandbriefe) and on the German Capital Investment Code.
Trained as a German Rechtsanwalt and an English Solicitor, Mr. Böhme has represented domestic clients in numerous transactions in all major European jurisdictions and international clients with respect to their activities in Germany.
Before joining King & Spalding in May 2008, Mr. Böhme worked for major German and international law firms in Munich, London and Frankfurt.
