Kristina Kopf Thomas Named a 2014 Daily Report Rising Star


ATLANTA, August 18, 2014 — Kristina Kopf Thomas, a partner with King & Spalding, has been named a 2014 Rising Star by the Daily Report

The Daily Report “Rising Stars 2014” notes Thomas’ work with GE Capital in the sale of a majority stake in a multi-billion dollar portfolio of multifamily properties to Blackstone. It also mention her work for clients such as Cousins Properties, Brookdale Group, Clarion Partners and Jamestown Properties. 

Thomas is a member of King & Spalding’s Capital Transactions and Real Estate Group, where her practice focuses on the structuring and formation of real estate investment funds and  joint ventures, as well as the sale, acquisition, development, and financing of all types of real estate assets. Thomas’s clients include private equity, institutions, sponsors, investors and developers in all aspects of their real estate businesses.

Since 2002, the Daily Report has introduced readers to Georgia lawyers under age 40 who were or would become firm leaders, lawyer-legislators, in-house counsel, Supreme Court justices, judges and dedicated public servants.
