Government Accountability Office Releases Report On China's Implementation Of Trade And Investment Commitments
Joshua Snead

The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) on February 11 released a report in which it compiled hundreds of commitments that China has made to the United States on trade and investment issues through various bilateral dialogues. The report also assessed U.S. monitoring and reporting on China's implementation of these commitments. GAO's report recommended that the U.S. Trade Representative, the Secretary of Commerce, and the Secretary of the Treasury "work to provide clearer and more comprehensive reporting" on China's implementation of these commitments.
