Judicial Clerkship Hiring
We value the substantive and practical experience obtained through judicial clerkships. This depth of experience benefits both our clients and our practice. As a result, we actively seek to hire judicial clerks.
We welcome applications from judicial clerks throughout the year. We generally encourage you to submit your application in the early part of the year in which your clerkship ends, however, as we begin reviewing judicial clerkship applications in earnest in February.
We provide a competitive judicial clerkship bonus to judicial clerks joining the firm from a federal court clerkship in recognition of the specific expertise and talent gained through a judicial clerkship. In addition, judicial clerks are given appropriate compensation and seniority credit for time served clerking.
Many King & Spalding lawyers have clerked for federal and state appellate and trial courts throughout the U.S., including the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeals, district courts, and the specialized federal courts, as well as an array of state courts. Our former judicial clerks have joined the firm in many different practice groups, including both litigation and transactional practices.
If you are interested in applying for a new associate position following your judicial clerkship, please complete our online application form. We do not accept submissions of judicial clerk candidates from search firms.
