Capital Transactions and Real Estate

Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks a mid-level to senior associate attorney for its Capital Transactions and Real Estate practice group in Atlanta. Qualified candidates will have superior academic credentials and a minimum of four years’ large law firm experience in commercial real estate transactions, such as acquisitions, dispositions, development, financings, workouts and joint ventures. Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks a mid-level associate or counsel for its healthcare practice group in Atlanta. Qualified candidates will have superior academic credentials and extensive practice experience in regulatory counseling, transactions and/or litigation for healthcare clients, which may include experience with the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, False Claims Act investigations and litigation, HIPAA privacy and security, acquisitions, joint ventures and affiliations, contract drafting and review, reimbursement issues, managed care or tax exemption issues. Intellectual Property

Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks a junior to mid-level patent prosecutor for its intellectual property practice group in Atlanta. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of prior law firm experience and excellent academic credentials. Prior industry/technical experience is also desirable. An undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or electrical engineering is strongly preferred for this position, though other technical engineering degrees will also be considered. This position will support the group's patent prosecution associates and partners with patent application preparation and prosecution. HOUSTON

Global Transactions

Type of Experience: The Houston office of King & Spalding seeks a junior to mid-level associate for the firm's global transactions practice group. The work will involve (1) drafting and negotiating project agreements, commercial supply and offtake agreements, and other projects work, internationally and domestically, and (2) M&A, joint venture and general corporate work. The focus of the practice is oil and gas, with a particular emphasis on midstream gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and ports and terminals. Qualified candidates will have 2-4 years’ experience with energy projects, including gas-related contracts. A background in mergers and acquisitions and private equity helpful; experience with cross-border transactions a plus. Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier law school required.
