Corporate

# of Positions: 1 | Years of Experience: 4+
Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks a mid-level or senior associate for its Corporate practice group in Atlanta. Candidates should have a minimum of four years’ experience, including significant experience working on securities and capital markets transactions (e.g., IPOs, other offerings of common stock, preferred stock or hybrid securities, and high-yield and investment grade debt offerings).  Candidates should also have experience drafting and reviewing SEC periodic reports and consulting on governance matters. Business Litigation

Financial Restructuring

Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks a junior to mid-level associate for its Financial Restructuring Practice Group in Houston. Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier law school are required. Qualified candidates will have significant experience in commercial chapter 11 cases and related adversary litigation, with experience and understanding of the energy industry. The work will involve drafting pleadings, participating in discovery, attending and participating in court proceedings, interactions with clients, and assisting teams in work for both debtor and creditor clients. Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks an entry-level staff attorney for its growing litigation practice groups in Los Angeles.  Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials; excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills; and an eagerness to work hard as part of a team.  May and December 2016 law school graduates will be considered, though preference will be given to candidates already barred in California.  The staff attorney will provide litigation support, primarily in reviewing and summarizing case materials and drafting discovery responses and motions.
