Business Litigation

Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks a mid-level associate for its Corporate and Securities practice group in either Atlanta or New York. Candidates should have a minimum of three years’ experience, including significant experience working on securities and capital markets transactions (e.g., IPOs, other offerings of common stock, preferred stock or hybrid securities, and high-yield and investment grade debt offerings).  Candidates should also have experience drafting and reviewing SEC periodic reports and consulting on governance matters.  Candidates with experience with public and private mergers and acquisitions will also be considered. Type of Experience: King & Spalding's Atlanta office seeks a mid-level associate for its finance practice group. Candidates should have a minimum of three to five years' experience representing lending institutions and corporate borrowers in a variety of lending transactions, including syndicated credit facilities, private placement of notes, and acquisition financing. Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier law school required. Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks 3 mid-level to senior associates for its tort litigation & environmental practice group in Atlanta for tobacco litigation matters. Candidates should have a minimum of 4-6 years’ experience.  Candidates should have significant trial experience and litigation skills, including taking depositions of fact and expert witnesses, oral argument of discovery and pretrial motions, and examination of witnesses at trial.
