Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks a mid-level or senior associate for its Corporate practice group in Atlanta. Candidates should have a minimum of three years’ experience, including experience working on public and private mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions, and corporate governance. Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks 3 mid-level to senior associates for its tort litigation & environmental practice group in Atlanta for tobacco litigation matters. Candidates should have a minimum of 4-6 years’ experience.  Candidates should have significant trial experience and litigation skills, including taking depositions of fact and expert witnesses, oral argument of discovery and pretrial motions, and examination of witnesses at trial. Type of Experience: The Houston office of King & Spalding seeks an associate or counsel for the construction sub-section of the firm's global transactions practice group. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in construction litigation or transactions. The work will involve the drafting and negotiation of construction-related contracts for large-scale energy, mining and infrastructure projects located around the world, typically valued from $200 million to in excess of $20 billion per project. Background in engineering, architecture or construction is strongly preferred. Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier law school required.
