Capital Transactions and Real Estate
# of Positions: 1-2 | Years of Experience: 5-10+
Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks 1 - 2 staff attorneys for its Capital Transactions and Real Estate practice group in Atlanta. Candidates should have a minimum of five years’ experience engaged in commercial real estate transactions, with a high-level of familiarity with real estate due diligence (including in the areas of title, survey, entitlements, local law, estoppels and document review), purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, entity formation mechanics, judgment/lien/bankruptcy searches and transaction and document management. In addition to due diligence, the job description includes preparing, organizing and maintaining basic transaction documents, deal files, checklists, closing binders and post-closing deliverables. Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks a junior to mid-level patent prosecutor for its intellectual property practice group in Atlanta. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of prior law firm experience and excellent academic credentials. Prior industry/technical experience is also desirable. The ideal candidate has experience in litigation relating to the financial services industry, the securities laws, accounting and auditing issues, complex civil litigation and an interest in focusing on these types of matters. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three years of experience in large-scale litigation and regulatory investigations, including managing offensive and defensive discovery, preparing witnesses for depositions, taking and defending depositions and managing case teams.
