Mr. Hoffmann’s pro bono experience includes:

• Successfully representing a 20-year-old Afghan asylum seeker whose mother was killed by the Soviets and his father killed by the Taliban.



• Successful death penalty appeals in the Georgia Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.



• Litigation resulting in the closing of a juvenile prison due to the failure to prevent inmate-on-inmate violence.



• Litigating and settling two wrongful death lawsuits on behalf of the families of deceased prison inmates.



• Litigation restoring Food Stamp benefits to Hurricane Katrina victims.
