Mr. Murphy is a partner on the Business Litigation Practice Group in the Atlanta office. He received his B.S., with honors, from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 1980. Upon graduation, Mr. Murphy received a commission in the USNR and his USCG license as ship’s officer. After four years of service in the maritime industry, he attended law school at Emory University, graduating in 1986.
