Jill Wasserman is a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group at King & Spalding.
Her practice focuses on trial and appellate litigation of intellectual property matters in federal district and circuit courts across the United States. Ms. Wasserman has handled a broad range of intellectual property litigation, including disputes arising under patent, trademark, false advertising, and libel and First Amendment law. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Wasserman regularly counsels clients on the use and protection of intellectual property assets, access to information, public relations and communications, and other intellectual property-related issues.

Ms. Wasserman received her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law, summa cum laude, in 2001, and graduated from Williams College with a Bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in Biology in 1996. Prior to joining King & Spalding, Ms. Wasserman was a Law Clerk to the Honorable Orinda D. Evans in the Northern District of Georgia.
Ms. Wasserman is a regular instructor in the Kessler/Eidson Trial Techniques Program at Emory University. She also serves on the board of directors of the Oakhurst Community Garden Project. Ms. Wasserman also recently completed six years of volunteer service as the president of the Williams College Atlanta Alumni Association and continues to serve on its Steering Committee. Her civic work extends to pro bono representation of indigent clients in habeas corpus and civil rights cases before federal trial and appellate courts, including assisting with the representation of an indigent client before the United States Supreme Court.
