Dan McDevitt is a partner in King & Spalding’s Business Litigation Practice Group. He has more than ten years experience counseling and representing individuals and entities in connection with a variety of complex, civil litigation, arbitration, and investigations, including shareholder derivative and securities class action claims, breach of contract claims, professional negligence claims, ERISA claims, and other complex individual and class action business disputes.

Over the last five years, a majority of Mr. McDevitt’s cases have involved defending publicly traded corporations and their officers and directors in cases brought under state and federal securities statutes and in shareholder derivative actions. He has also defended corporations and individuals before the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, the New York Stock Exchange, and other regulatory agencies. He has been involved in arbitration matters conducted under the auspices of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the American Arbitration Association. He has also conducted internal investigations and counseled corporate boards and board committees on various governance issues.
