HOUSTON, January 16, 2013 — Zack Harmon, a partner at King & Spalding, will be part of a panel providing an insider’s view of an effective Foreign Corrupt Practice Act internal investigation at the American Conference Institute’s 7th Houston FCPA Boot Camp at the Hilton Houston Post Oak Hotel on January 24.
“Foreign Corrupt Practices Act enforcement by U.S. authorities has increased significantly over the past five years, with investigations initiated in many major industries and numerous regions across the world,” Harmon said. “The U.S. Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission have made it clear that anticorruption will remain a high priority for enforcement, particularly within the oil and gas and related services industries. This boot camp will help companies bolster their anticorruption compliance and avoid getting caught in the crosshairs.”
