07 Dec 2012
ATLANTA, December 7, 2012 — Ronni D. Solomon will serve on the faculty of the Sedona Conference’s upcoming “Primer on Social Media” webinar on December 12. The 90-minute program aims to provide litigators, in-house counsel, judges, information management professionals, law faculty and students with a basic understanding of the various legal issues surrounding social media.

As part of the program, Solomon and her co-panelists will provide guidelines for the corporate use and management of social media, as well as principles for the preservation, collection and production of social media ESI (electronically stored information) in discovery. The webinar will also examine the current and possible future impact of social media on certain discovery issues, and will culminate in a roundtable discussion that will cover social media policy construction, governance issues, records retention, preservation, search tools, provider access, meet-and-confer considerations, authentication and more.
