Andrew Bayman Named to Vanderbilt Law’s Board of Advisors

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 1, 2012 — Andrew T. Bayman, a partner with King & Spalding in Atlanta, has been appointed to the board of advisors of Vanderbilt Law School. He will serve a three-year term.

The 47-member board of advisors plays a crucial role in carrying out the law school’s mission of providing an unparalleled legal education to its students and an intellectually vibrant community in which faculty can pursue teaching and scholarly excellence. The board meets at the law school each fall during Reunion weekend and each spring in conjunction with the annual Founders Circle Dinner.

Bayman is leader of King & Spalding’s tort and environmental litigation practice group. He is a 1989 graduate of Vanderbilt Law School. Bayman joins King & Spalding’s chairman, Robert D. Hays, Jr., on the board of advisors. Hays is a 1983 graduate of the law school.
