King & Spalding’s Private Finance Practice Among the Busiest in the United States, According to Thomson Reuters LPC’s Q3 League Tables

NEW YORK, October 19, 2012 – In its recently released Q3 2012 league table results, Thomson Reuters LPC again counts King & Spalding as one of the most active law firms representing U.S. lenders and borrowers on loan transactions in the United States.

In U.S. leveraged finance matters, King & Spalding ranked 4th in lender-side representations and 6th for total lender and sponsor representations through the first nine months of 2012. King & Spalding also maintained its top-five status for merger and acquisition financings, ranking 3rd by number of lender representations and 4th for total representations in that category.

Overall, the firm ranked 8th by number of representations in syndicated transactions since the start of the year, and was credited with 67 deals worth more than $26 billion. The firm earned the 7th spot for total lender side deals, and placed 16th based on the aggregate number of borrower representations.
