Latest Thomson Reuters M&A League Tables Rate King & Spalding as One of the Leading U.S. Dealmakers

NEW YORK, October 19, 2012 — According to Thomson Reuters' third quarter M&A league tables, King & Spalding is one of the most active law firms advising on mergers and acquisitions in 2012.

King & Spalding’s corporate practice has advised on 50 announced deals with a U.S.-based target in 2012, ranking it 18th among law firms worldwide. The firm also earned top rankings for its mid-market and small cap activity in the United States, finishing as the 14th and 9th busiest firm, respectively.

These U.S. market rankings follow closely on the announcement of Thomson Reuters’ Middle East and North Africa (MENA) deal rankings, in which the firm placed 13th.
