MACON, Georgia, October 12, 2012 – Paul A. Quiros, a partner in the corporate practice of King & Spalding, in Atlanta, was elected chair of the board of visitors of Mercer University School of Law, effective September 28. He will serve a two-year term. The board of visitors is an advisory group to the dean of the law school.
“Since coming to Mercer as dean in 2010, I have had the good fortune to have Paul as one of the officers of the board,” said Gary J. Simson, dean and Macon chair of law, Mercer University School of Law. “He is an unusually perceptive and insightful individual, with outstanding judgment. I am confident that he will serve with distinction as chair, and I very much look forward to working with him in that capacity.”
Quiros focuses his legal practice on corporate and corporate finance matters for middle-market companies, particularly in the health care and life sciences sectors. He received his J.D. degree from Mercer University Law School.
