LONDON, October 3, 2012 – King & Spalding corporate partner William Charnley appeared on the BBC Radio Four’s Today programme this morning.
Charnley spoke about the role of the UK Takeover Panel in light of high-profile announcements involving BAE SYSTEMS and EADS, Kraft and Cadbury and AG Barr and Britvic. He explained the role of the panel, its composition and its purpose.
Charnley joined King & Spalding in July 2012. He has many years' experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, disposals, flotations and other issues, private equity transactions and general corporate and securities advice. He has a particular focus on private equity, hedge funds and financial institutions.
