Brian White to Present at American Society of International Law Meeting

ATLANTA, September 4, 2012 – Brian A. White, a partner at King & Spalding, will be a panelist at the kick-off presentation of the 2012 midyear meeting and research forum of the American Society of International Law in Atlanta on October 19. The meeting will move to Athens, Ga., on October 20 and 21. The event is being presented in affiliation with the University of Georgia School of Law.

White’s panel will discuss the topic of “When Transactional Business Deals Go Sour: The Challenges and Opportunities of International Arbitration.”

White is resident in the King & Spalding’s Atlanta office. He has represented clients in arbitration disputes and served as lead counsel or co-counsel in cross-border disputes arising out of business ventures in countries around the world. These matters have involved mergers and acquisitions, joint venture agreements, license agreements, contracts for the sale of goods, construction projects and insurance coverage. He also has litigated cases in state and federal courts in the United States. White has taught international commercial arbitration as an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia School of Law and is vice president and a member of the board of directors of the Atlanta International Arbitration Society.
