MOSCOW, April 17, 2012 – King & Spalding partners Jennifer A. Josefson and Olga M. Kozyr have been selected by their peers for inclusion in the 2012 edition of the Best Lawyers in Russia guide. Josefson was recognized in the energy and natural resources category, while Kozyr earned spots in the environmental law and real estate sections.
Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review process that consists of confidential evaluations from leading lawyers. Individuals are voted into practice areas entirely as a result of the votes they receive from their peers.
Josefson specializes in Russian and international transactions in the energy and natural resources sector, regularly advising clients on M&A and joint venture arrangements, joint operating agreements, concessions, production sharing agreements, farm-ins, supply and service agreements and international arbitration in the subsoil and energy sectors.
Kozyr practices in the areas of corporate law, real estate law and life sciences, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and IPOs, including IPOs on the London Stock Exchange; real estate development and construction projects; and regulatory issues for pharmaceutical and medical devices industries, including clinical trials. She represents U.S. and European companies engaged in investment in industry in Russia, as well as Russian companies.
Both are members of the firm’s recently established Moscow office, which opened in May 2011.
